Pataudi, the eternal prankster

Pataudi was a fine prankster too.

On more than one occasion he would take his teammates to the forest and stage manage a bandit attack.

Gundappa Vishwanath and Vijay Manjrekar were victims.

Pataudi noticed how Manjrekar was so protective of his new wristwatch and the 'bandits' (who were part of Pataudi's work force at his Bhopal palace) were 'instructed' to steal it.
