Chasing 206 for a win at the the Moti Bagh Stadium, the Abhinav Mukund-led Tamil Nadu eased to their target in the second session of play and earned six points. Karnataka, already assured of a berth in the last eight before the start of the game, finished on top of the Group with 33 points, including the one point earned in this match, while Tamil Nadu finished second with 29 points after defeating Baroda by seven wickets in the latter's backyard.
Baroda new-ball bowler Sagar Mangalorkar (2-69) picked up a couple of early wickets to put the brakes on Tamil Nadu but Man of the Match Vijay stitched an unbeaten 69-run fourth-wicket partnership with Vijay Shankar (26 not out) to complete the formalities.
Earlier, Tamil Nadu had responded with 188 to Baroda's first-innings score of 149 and then bundled out the Aditya Waghmode-led side for 245 in the second innings.
Laxmipathy Balaji (3-65) picked up three wickets while new-ball bowlers Prasanth Parameswaran (2-52) and Aswin Crist (2-44) bagged up two wickets each.
