Colombo: The Sri Lankan cricket team which returned home yesterday from winning the Asia Cup in Bangladesh were given a rousing welcome.

The team was paraded in an open bus to the Sri Lanka Cricket headquarters where large crowds thronged along the route from the international airport to greet the champion team.
