Ahead of must-win clash against Australia today, off-spinner says India is under no pressure to win the series
Despite trailing 1-2 in the seven-match ODI series against Australia, off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin believes the hosts are under no pressure ahead of the sixth ODI at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Jamtha here today.

“There is no pressure as such. This is going to be a crucial game for us, so we just want to go out and enjoy ourselves and see where we can take it. It has been a good and tight series so far,” Ashwin said yesterday.
India lost the first and third ODIs in Pune and Mohali respectively, while registering a historic nine-wicket win in the second ODI at Jaipur. India chased down a mammoth 359 with 6.3 overs to spare. The fourth ODI was called off due to rain in Ranchi, while the fifth ODI in Cuttack was abandoned without a ball being bowled.
The Indian bowling attack has been disappointing in the series. But, Ashwin said every bowler has been trying to improve. “We are constantly looking to improve. There are always areas that you can work on, constantly looking to improve on. I have been trying to work on bowling more and more because that’s the only way you can get better. There is nothing to worry,” the 27-year-old said.
When asked about the impact the field restrictions are having on the bowlers, Ashwin said, “The demands of the game are such that you need to keep evolving as a cricketer. As long as the decision is not in my court, I cannot do anything about it. Whatever decision is being made, I will have to try and cope with it. I am sure all cricketers are doing the same thing,” he said.
Meanwhile, Australia skipper George Bailey is confident of winning the series, “We are very happy to be 2-1 up. We have played some very good cricket. We are finding a lot of confidence at the moment. That stems from the way the tour has gone so far,” Bailey said.u00a0
