Team India did not practice here on Saturday due to unavailability of net bowlers.u00a0The Herald Sun newspaper reported on Friday that net bowlers were not free to bowl to the Indians since Grade tournaments were on in the South Australian city.

"Tomorrow there is some tournament going on so the good bowlers are not available," an Indian team spokesman told the newspaper.

However, one wondered whether the Indian team could have used their own bowling resources considering the squad has seven bowlersu00a0-- Zaheer Khan, Ishant Sharma, Umesh Yadav, Vinay Kumar, Abhimanyu Mithun, Pragyan Ojha and Ravichandran Ashwin apart from part-timers like Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, Rohit Sharma and skipper MS Dhoni who can bowl in the nets. Australia trained on Saturday though.

Some Indian players were seen at shopping malls and restaurants. The team is scheduled to have their second practice session at the Adelaide Oval today.
