VVS Laxman slams MS Dhoni for under-bowling Harbhajan

The stylish batting great was commentating with Harsha Bhogle and Allan Border just before the first drinks interval when he attacked his former captain MS Dhoni for under-bowling Harbhajan Singh.u00a0

“I am really surprised with the tactics of MS Dhoni. You want your spinners to take the major chunk of bowling. It is surprising that Harbhajan hasn’t come into action since yesterday tea time.

You want to have more and more variety. You should know which bowler the batsman will not be comfortable facing. That’s going to be the spinners of the Indian team,” said Laxman on Star Cricket.

Laxman emphasised that Dhoni treated the offie in the same fashion during the second India vs England Test in Mumbai last year. “He is not getting enough overs to get back in rhythm. Not giving him bowling, obviously you are sending him wrong signals,” Laxman said.u00a0
