West Indies captain Darren Sammy yesterday said his team's preparations for next week's first Test against Bangladesh were on course despite their warm-up match being shortened by a day due to wet ground

However Sammy was still hopeful his team would be ready in time for the first of two Tests which start in Dhaka on November 13.

“We have got an experienced batting line up, last year we came here without Gayle who is now in the team while Chanderpaul is still one of the best Testu00a0batsmen in the world and Marlon Samuels is in good form,” said Sammy.


“We are quite confident in what we have and what we could do and we just need to go down and execute our plans,” he added.u00a0
