Rajasthan Royals' captain is over the moon after imposing himself on Gilly's flop Deccan Chargers outfit

Rajasthan Royals' skipper Shane Warne had some bad news for his opponents after last night's thrilling two-run win over defending champions Deccan Chargers:

1. We have never lost at Jaipur where we play three of our next four games.

3. This win has given us a lot of momentum and belief.
And a special message to Delhi Daredevils skipper Gautam Gambhir, who recently said, except for Yusuf Pathan, the rest of the team is ordinary. "He (Gambhir) can worry about his own game, but I hope those comments come back to haunt him," said Warne.

Rajasthan Royals are just two points less than Delhi (12 points) and they are serious contenders for the semi-final spot. Indeed, it was a night to remember for the blonde leg-spinner, who claimed four wickets to help his side win a close encounter.

Deccan Chargers were bowled out for 157 after Rajasthan totalled 159. "I told the guys we might be 10 to 15 runs short, but we can make that up in the field and I thought we fielded brilliantly," Warne told the media last night.

He didn't spend too much time talking about his four-wicket burst, but stressed what makes a good spell in Twenty20 cricket. "You have 24 balls to bowl in T20 cricket. It's all about the right ball at the right time. There is no point bowling big, ripping leg-breaks and the guy nicks it and it goes for four. It's all about setting it up."
He cited a classic example from Rajasthan's last game against Chennai Super Kings in Chennai which the hosts won on Saturday. "I bowled probably my best leg-break against M Vijay, but that was hit for a six," he said.

He must have experienced a sinking feeling when Rohit Sharma hit him for a six as soon as he came on to bowl. But there was trouble in store for Deccan. After Anirudh Singh pulled him for a four, Warne's slider got the inexperienced batsman to snick to wicketkeeper Naman Ojha.

Soon, Dwayne Smith, Azhar Bilakhia and Ryan Harris were sent back.

With six needed off six balls, Deccan were still in the hunt but RP Singh (3), Harmeet Singh (0) and last man Rohit (73) perished in three consecutive balls offu00a0 Siddharth Trivedi. The young seamer couldn't have done it without the trust and confidence of his captain. "I try to lead from the front, but it can't be just one person.
"If I believe in something, I still have to get the other guys to believe. We believe we can do it and I suppose tactically we are as good as anyone in the IPL.
Heard that, Gambhir?
