Former Team India spinner Ravichandran Ashwin feels that newly-added pacer Anshul Kamboj belongs to the category of Zaheer Khan and Jasprit Bumrah, who are not only skillful, but also have plans that help them express themselves.

"The appreciable thing about Anshul is that he understands the plan. I have seen so many fast bowlers if you ask them about the plan, they just say they want to express themselves and enjoy the game," Ashwin said on his YouTube channel.

The former spinner also said that not many bowlers understand the plan and can execute it on the field like Anshul does.

"Anshul understands plans and also knows how to execute in the middle. It's not a trait many fast bowlers possess. Zaheer Khan was one of them. He was amazing," he added.

Ashwin did not draw comparisons between Bumrah and Kamboj, but feels that Bumrah is among the bowlers who have a plan and the courage to execute it well on the field.

"In recent times, Jassi (Bumrah) is one player who understands the plans and executes them to perfection. Anshul belongs to that variety. I'm not comparing skills because skills are a very different thing," said the 38-year-old former cricketer.

Ahead of the fourth Test match, Ashwin feels if Team India's think tank includes Kamboj alongside the likes of Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj, the troika will wreak havoc in Manchester.

"With Bumrah and Siraj there, if you are bringing in Anshul Kamboj into the playing XI, I'm telling you, it's a serious bowling," said the veteran of 106 Test matches.

Anshul replaces Team India's Nitish Kumar Reddy, who has also been ruled out, as he sustained an injury during a gym session. Pacer Arshdeep Singh is also not available for the fourth Test, owing to an injury. The visitor's think tank has now added Anshul Kamboj to the mix. It will be interesting to see if wrist-spinner Kuldeep Yadav makes the cut in the playing XI for the fourth Test match or will continue his wait on the bench.

India's squad for the fourth Test: Shubman Gill (C), Rishabh Pant (VC & WK), Yashasvi Jaiswal, KL Rahul, Sai Sudharsan, Abhimanyu Easwaran, Karun Nair, Ravindra Jadeja, Dhruv Jurel (WK), Washington Sundar, Shardul Thakur, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohd. Siraj, Prasidh Krishna, Akash Deep, Kuldeep Yadav, Anshul Kamboj.

England's playing XI: Zak Crawley, Ben Duckett, Ollie Pope, Joe Root, Harry Brook, Ben Stokes (c), Jamie Smith, Liam Dawson, Chris Woakes, Brydon Carse, Jofra Archer.
