The Little Mix star Edwards won praise on social media after proudly displaying a scar, extending the length of her stomach, following surgery as a child. The British singer shared the picture with her 6.3 million Instagram followers.
Edwards, who got the scar due to surgery she underwent as a child to help widen her esophagus as she could not digest food properly, was immediately praised for her bravery.
"My biggest body-hang up is my scar on my stomach. When I was little, my oesophagus was too small, so I had to get it operated on to help me eat properly. I had to have lots of operations, so that's why I don't want to show it," Edwards had told Now magazine earlier.
