There was a huge uproar over the Indian Olympic Association's decision to not send the Indian men's and women's football teams to Jakarta for the Asian Games. However, mid-day can confirm that both the men's and women's teams are part of the Indian contingent at the Asian Games here, at least on paper! The names of 22 male footballers and 20 female footballers are listed in the athletes' column of the Indian contingent in the official Asian Games Info website at the Main Press Centre here which is regularly accessed by local and international media to check daily schedule, results and other information. So, some of India's prominent football stars like Udanta Singh, Sandesh Jhinghan and goalkeeper Gurpreet Singh can all boast of being a part of the Asian Games now, again, at least on paper!

Few may know the full names of some of India's top sports stars, because some tend to use only initials before or after their name or surname to probably keep things simple.
