Around 9000 Chile fans have launched a protest in a bid for footballer Alexis Sanchez to dump his girlfriend Mayte Rodriguez because they think that it's due to her that the striker has become fat and lazy.
The supporters didn't blame him for his performance after Chile lost 1-0 to Bolivia in their World Cup qualifying clash, but blamed the actress instead.

They even created a Facebook page titled "March so that Alexis ends it with Mayte and returns to his level to reach the 2018 World Cup in Russia."
The march will be held on October 5. The fans seem to agree with former Chile Under-20 boss Jose Sulantay who criticised Sanchez for being "fatter than normal".
