Jose Mourinho donates £16,000 watch as Manchester United stars attend UNICEF gala dinner at Old Trafford, raise £215,000 for charity

Manchester: Manchester Untied decided to leave their English Premier League perils behind as they attended a gala dinner for UNICEF on Monday night and raised £215,000 for charity. At the event, United boss Jose Mourinho, whose collection was already up for auction at Old Trafford Stadium, went one step further by taking off his £16,000 watch and auctioned it, according to Daily Mail.

The club’s entire first team squad, including German midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger accompanied Mourinho to the event. Zlatan Ibrahimovic looked calm and relaxed as he gave thumbs up to the cameras, while Anthony Martial, Juan Mata, Daley Blind and Ander Herrera all arrived alongside their glamorous partners. United haven’t won a single match in the Premier League during October—a result of which leaves them eighth in the table, eight points off joint-leaders Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool.
