Italian football star Federico Marchetti’s prized possession, a £300,000 (approx Rs 2.99 crore) Ferrari 812 Superfast was smashed by a car wash worker. According to a British tabloid, The Sun, the Genoa goalkeeper gave the car for cleaning while he was training with his Serie A club recently.
However, as the worker drove the sports car to Genoa’s training facility, he was unable to handle the car’s power and smashed it into a safety barrier. Thankfully, the driver escaped without injury, but Marchetti was left furious. Later, he wrote on Instagram: “I am very sorry about what happened. Thank God no one was hurt, and that is the most important thing.”
