Portuguese football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo made partner Georgina Rodriguez’s 27th birthday special by surprising her with a romantic candlelit dinner. He also gifted her a bunch of red roses.
On Thursday, Ronaldo Instagrammed this loved-up picture (right) with Rodriguez for his 257 million followers and captioned it: “Happy birthday, love of my life.” The couple enjoyed their meal on a table set with candles and rose petals.

Meanwhile, Ronaldo reportedly broke COVID-19 travel restrictions with a trip to a mountain resort. He allegedly travelled to Courmayeur, 150 kilometres north-west of the Serie A club Juventus’s Turin headquarters, for Rodriguez’s birthday. Rodriguez, who turned 27 on Wednesday, posted a video of the couple on a snowmobile on Instagram. She later removed it, but it was picked up by several Italian news sites.
