MFA First Division Championship: Grenville nets hat-trick as Catholic Gymkhana rout CFCI Miners 6-1

Striker Grenville Murzello struck a hat-trick to help Catholic Gymkhana register a thumping 6-1 win over CFCI Miners SC in a Playoff match of the Mumbai Football Association First Division Championship, at the Neville D’Souza Ground, Bandra recently.

Murzello opened the scoring in the fourth minute before adding two more goals to his tally (58th min and 66th min). Mohit Chandiramani (20th min), Amol Patil (74th min) and Reuben Fernandes (77th min) also got on the scoresheet for Catholic Gymkhana. Sheshang Singh scored Miners’s lone goal in second-half injury time.
