The UEFA Champions League second leg is set for some exciting clashes. European heavyweights will collide at the round of 16 stage, making it thrilling for fans and players alike. Manchester City vs Real Madrid will be the showpiece match of the night. However, Chelsea against PSG could spring a surprise too, as both English sides chase a historic comeback win against all the odds.

English clubs in action in the Champions League

Manchester City vs Real Madrid (Agg: 0-3)

Manchester City has a difficult task ahead of them at the Etihad Stadium. Pep Guardiola has acknowledged that his team must be "perfect" to survive after Real Madrid's clinical 3-0 thrashing at the Bernabéu last week, which was fuelled by an incredible Federico Valverde hat-trick. The 15-time champions are still strong favourites to go to the quarterfinals, but if Manchester City can find the form of their old self, it could be a thrilling game at the Etihad Stadium. An early goal, especially from Erling Haaland, could help City mount a comeback.

Chelsea vs Paris Saint-Germain (Agg: 2-5)

Another thrilling match takes place at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea tries to overcome a sizable 2-5 deficit against Paris Saint-Germain. Chelsea was competitive for 70 minutes of a thrilling first leg in Paris before collapsing late in the match. PSG, inspired by Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, will aim to complete the job and move into the quarter-finals. For Chelsea, Joao Pedro and Cole Palmer will be the key in mounting a comeback.

Arsenal vs Bayer Leverkusen (Agg: 1-1)

Arsenal will start as the firm favourites when they face Bayer Leverkusen in the second-leg of the UEFA Champions League clash. Leverkusen led in the first leg, but Kai Havertz's late penalty made it 1-1 in the first leg. Arsenal are in great form and should move to the next round without many problems.
While Arsenal should be the favourites to move to the next round, Manchester City and Chelsea have a mountain to climb. City needs inspiration as they aim to overturn a 3 goal defiicit against the mighty Real Madrid. Meanwhile, Chelsea are struggling themselves and would need a miracle against the current European Champions if they are to go through.
