Confessions first: I am technologically challenged. So, I pride myself in being the 'perfect bakra' for testing a product that requires me to configure anything – a new laptop, a phone or even a backpack.
We receive the Eume bag, the world's first-of-its-kind, with an inbuilt massager, whose patent is pending in the US and India. A sleek dark grey exterior, with geometric patterns on the sides lends the bag a professional look. An autograph by brand ambassador Hardik Pandya, in golden ink, does seem bit tacky though.

The manual talks about everything from massager panels, air channels, torso adjustment, straps, but not the charging point. We plug in a portable charger incorrectly on an external two-port USB charging point, meant for external devices. The bag requires a constant connection of a power bank over 10,000 MAH, that will charge your external devices.
The massager
Ensure the straps are hugging the bag tight around you to feel the gentle vibration on your scapula and hip. A button on the top right strap controls the in-built massager. One press activates the shoulder points, twice the lower massager and thrice sets both in motion simultaneously. Four presses to turn the massager off. However, we struggled with the button to turn it on.
The drawback is you have to be strapped to ease your back at all times; wearing it on one shoulder is not comfortable. For those with a broad built, the bag is ergonomic, but for petit people it may not be the best choice.
It takes time to perfect the adjustments. I spent an entire day with the bag strapped on my back and it took the weight of the laptop off my back, when I had buckled up right and tight.
Anti-theft zippers
I open my bag incessantly, and on the go. The bag has two front zippers on either side. The space is compact enough to hold a passport, wallet and other non-bulky contents. Inside, the bag lets you be well-organised with spacious compartments.
Verdict The bag is ergonomically sane to divide external weight evenly on your back. But, it eats power. We used it at intervals from 1 pm to 6.30 pm without using it to charge any devices and the battery had drained out.
