Tucked away amidst the gargantuan buildings in the city lie spaces that are an escape from the hustle-bustle of everyday life. Not as well-known as major city parks, these spaces offer serenity and bring people closer to nature with melodious birdsong, greenery, and flowers and butterflies. Check them out when you need a breather.

Sant Tukaram Balodyan


A small park located in Shivaji Park, this place is perfect for everyday walks and sitting under the trees, just to appreciate nature for a while.

Wonders Park

An amusement park located in Navi Mumbai, this place is perfect to spend time with family. One of its prime attractions is a rock climbing wall that the visitors seem to enjoy a lot.

Mindspace Garden

This garden is well-landscaped, and also offers viewing decks to see pelicans and flamingoes. It is especially beautiful during winter.

Nanalal D Mehta Garden

A space under the flyover, this is a cosy spot that surrounds a walking track and has a lot of greenery and rock formations, making it a perfect respite from the bustling city.

Ramhari Kroshan Dhote Udyan (Hinduja Park)

A place that has it all — this park has a skating rink, a sea-front garden, tree-lined walkway, ample benches, kids slides and swings, and a gazebo to sit and read
