Bandra is glowing


Turner and Waterfield Roads in Bandra have been covered with fairy lights and a swarm of butterfly installations to herald the festive season. The decoration is courtesy Icon Avenue, a luxury high street shop, that makes its debut on Diwali, boasting of jewellery, fashion and lifestyle brands. If not shopping, go for a walk through this beautifully done-up neighbourhood, indulge in lucky draws and enjoy musical events.

For night owls

Phoenix Palladium has turned its courtyard into a flea market offering ethnic clothes, footwear, accessories and gifting options. The best part? It is open till 1 am. If you don’t want to shop, explore the art installations and stop to enjoy the live music.

Fun, food and shop

A flea market

In association with Solitaire Events, R City mall has put up a flea market called Bazaarific, with over 40 pop-up stalls plying silver jewellery, hair accessories, clothes and food, alongside live music performances, games and art workshops.

Vegan bonanza

If you like sweets, but don’t like milk or following a cruelty-free lifestyle, then Dr Rupal Shah has 25 vendors for you. They make vegan-friendly everyday utility items such as bamboo toothbrushes, a variety of food items and sweets, as well as cosmetics. There will also be NGOs sharing awareness on the importance of being cruelty-free and health experts speaking about benefits of veganism, all under one roof.
