Unseeded Arhaan Penwala stunned seeded Ayaan Vaziralli in straight games to enter the boys’ U-11 second round, in the Altec Lansing Khar Gymkhana-ISP Squash Championship yesterday.
Mumbai Cricket Association’s Penwala fashioned the only upset of the opening day when he beat Bombay Gymkhana’s Vaziralli 11-3, 11-3 in the first round.
Penwala set up his next clash with unseeded Dhruv Khanna of JVPG, who beat Neil Paswan of Jindal Squash Academy 11-5, 11-3.
