Gaganjeet Bhullar emerged as the best Indian in the second round of the Czech Open here yesterday. Playing in his first European Tour event this season, Bhullar shared the 32nd spot with two-over 74 at the midway stage.

Jeev Milka Singh went to 75 and just about made the cut at two-over, while Shiv Kumar missed the cut with a 77 in second round at three-over.

Bhullar, who made a poor start with three bogeys in the first four holes, struck a birdie on the fifth followed by a bogey on sixth. Bullar turned in 39, but had two birdies and one bogey on back nine for a total of 74.

While Jeev had three bogeys, a double bogey and just one birdie in his 75, Kapur had five bogeys, a double bogey and just two birdies in his 77 and missed the cut. Meanwhile, Sweden's Mikael Lundberg moved into the lead.
