Website glitch
The standard XII results were declared around 10 am on Monday. Though, the number of students appeared constitute a small amount but schools and students individually were unable to check their results till noon after the website got jammed. The second phase of post-result counselling by CBSE board started from Monday post after the standard XII results were out. The second phase will continue till June 6. The counselling not only aims to help students but also parents to combat post -result stress and anxiety.

At least 36 principals, trained counsellors from CBSE-affiliated government and private schools and numerous psychologists will conduct tele-counselling for students from across the country on toll-free numbers. It will also be available in Dubai, Doha and Kuwait. Sharma said the response to councelling was good. "We have received numerous calls from students across the country." The CBSE board has been conducting counselling for the last 14 years. Last year, around 14,000 calls in a period of 15 days were received. "Students not only called us out of depression but they also wanted guidance regarding their career. The whole counselling has gone far beyond the psychological help," Sharma said.
