Just six years old and never having starred in a movie, Suri Cruise already has the kind of accessory reserved for the biggest stars ufffd a body double. And she can thank her security obsessed superstar dad Tom Cruise for that.
According to the New York Daily News, Suri’s alleged double was spotted as recently as Friday afternoon, after her mom, actress Katie Holmes, picked her up from her Manhattan school and they returned to their Chelsea home.

Hankering a snack, celebrity mother and daughter hopped back into a black SUV and headed downtown to TriBeCa, apparently bound for the ‘wichcraft sandwich shop on Greenwich St., which is a favorite of Holmes.
But the vehicle made an unexpected stop at a police precinct — and out popped the doppelganger. u00a0She wore the same purple, puffy down-filled coat as Suri.
She had the same black leggings and Ugg-type tan boots with pink soles as Suri. u00a0And while she tried to hide her face, her auburn hair was long and brown like Suri’s. Only she wasn’t Suri.
The real Suri arrived with her nanny minutes later in another black SUV at the side entrance of a TriBeCa building that leads to the eatery. u00a0Wearing her favorite panda hat and carrying the stuffed toy that goes with her everywhere, she was whisked inside by her nanny before anybody noticed.
Sources said that the ‘Mission: Impossible’ star, who divorced Holmes last year but remains deeply involved in their daughter’s life, has a mania for security.
“Tom wants the names of all the parents of the kids Suri plays with. He has to approve them before Suri can go to their houses or apartments alone. He has them investigated and he keeps a file on everyone. He is very cautious when it comes to her,” a source said.
For reasons unclear, Cruise has stepped up security around Suri in recent months and has met with risk assessment teams and kidnapping specialists, sources said.
