NBC's new teaser focuses on the struggles faced by Constantine as he is entrusted to protect the innocent.

'Constantine' will also introduce Angelica Celaya as John's supernaturally-gifted sidekick Zed Martin. Other DC Comics characters who will be featured include
The Spectre (Emmett Scanlan), Papa Midnite (Michael James Shaw) and the demon Nergal (Miles Anderson).
John Constantine was a character created for DC Comics by Alan Moore, Steve Bissette and John Totleben in 1985.
