Having switched Naples for Turin during the summer in a controversial 90 million euros ($98.9 million) move, Argentine Higuain's left-footed strike in the 74th minute helped the title holders take a 2-1 win, reports Efe. In the video, which was posted on his Facebook account, Maradona said: "It is my 56th birthday, but I am sad because we lost to Juventus."
"I am not a traitor. I don't care what Higuain did, he can continue along his way, I really don't care. I am relaxed because I have never betrayed the Napoli jersey. My heart is Neapolitan," he added.
Maradona played for Napoli between 1984 to 1991 during which he won the Serie A twice, one Supercoppa Italiana, one Coppa Italia and one Europa League.
