Nigdi police registered a case against two suspects, nabbed by officials of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for possessing and selling banned drugs

Nigdi police registered a case against two suspects, nabbed by officials of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for possessing and selling banned drugs.

The suspects were identified as Purvesh Pravin Muttha from Chinchwad and Sachin Baldava from Mumbai.

FDA Inspector (Drug) Savita Titar lodged an FIR against the duo.

As per the FDA’s complaint, while Muttha owns Nirmal Sales Corporation, J B Pharma in Mumbai belongs to Baldava.

Muttha used to procure the banned medicines from Baldava and sell it in Pune.

Sub-inspector P D Pawar is investigating the case.
