Los Angeles: WWE wrestler-turned-actor Dwayne Johnson is producing the feature film adaptation of graphic novel "Son of Shaolin".

Sony Pictures has acquired the feature pitch based on the upcoming graphic novel of the same name, reported Variety.
The book was written by Jay Longino, who will also pen the script.
The plot of the movie is not revealed yet, but according to sources it is a contemporary story about kung fu.
As of now, Johnson, 44, is only producing the project and not starring in it.
