Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi has an even bigger heart to go with his big achievements on the football field. The Argentine ace has donated a whopping £200,000 to help a youth club in his hometown of Rosario lay a new football pitch.
According to Argentine newspaper, Mundo Deportivo, Messi sent across the money through his foundation to Atletico Lanus sports club, in Rosario.

"We are very grateful to the Messi Foundation because it allows us to do great work for the boys.
This is a very important achievement because it is the first time that an entity of this size has made a major investment in Lanus," said a grateful Damian Sala, secretary of the club.
Messi’s foundation, set up in 2007, has specifically helps children and youths who may be at a disadvantage in life.
