So you thought Instagram is only about sharing photos and uploading Dubsmash videos? Learn how to optimise its use as a promotional tool at Social Samosa’s Instagram Marketing workshop.
It will be conducted by the 26-year-old Hitesh Rajwani, the business development and trainings head at Social Samosa, an online publication reporting insights, trends and breaking stories on social media marketing.
The workshop will teach you how to optimise your Instagram profile, devise a content strategy, build a relevant follower base, leverage the portal’s ads for business and even measure the Returns On Investment on Instagram campaigns.
While previously Facebook and Twitter were considered the go-to promotional tools, the brand clutter on these social networking platforms have opened up opportunities for Instagram, he believes, adding, “Instagram is the second most popular social network with 400 million active users.
With the simple interface and ease of content creation, the platform has managed to engage users like never before. The recent volumes of 80 million photos every day exemplify that the platform is on a growth spree.”
Divided in different modules, the workshop will highlight practical examples tailored as per the audience and also include live exercises for the participants. “The attendees will have to send us an assignment to obtain the Instagram Marketing Certification,” he adds.
So how effective is this marketing tool in the long run? “The possibilities are truly endless as Instagram can now be leveraged to create mass awareness, build a social brand, drive incremental traffic/app installs from a targeted audience.
At the end of the day, it’s about gaining a considerable share in the mind space of your customer. Instagram has the upper edge since our brain processes visuals 60,000x faster than text.”
