All the top stars and celebrities in Bollywood attended Ranbir Kapoor's 35th birthday which he ushered in at his residence in Pali Hill, Mumbai
Since Ranbir Kapoor had a working birthday last year, he seems to have made up for it this time around. As the actor turned 35, the who's who of Bollywood gathered at his Pali Hill home last night. Though his best buddy, Ayan Mukerji, couldn't join him because he's out of town, Kapoor's friends from B-Town ensured the day was ushered in, in style. Shah Rukh Khan, who was dubbing in Bandra, went home, changed and joined wife Gauri at Kapoor's home. She reached the venue earlier. Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra, Arjun Kapoor Aamir Khan and his wife, Kiran Rao, were also present.

A source tells mid-day, "Besides Aamir, Kiran, Shah Rukh, Gauri, Alia, Sidharth and Arjun, Akash Ambani, Kunal Rawal, Aditya Roy Kapur, Rana Daggubati, Imran Khan, his wife Avantika Malik Khan and filmmakers Rajkumar Hirani, Imtiaz Ali and Anurag Basu also attended the bash. Ranbir missed the special cake that Ayan gifts him on his birthday every year. He treated his guests to snacks and drinks, and the party went on till the wee hours." The insider says ex-lovebirds Malhotra and Bhatt greeted each other last night, but avoided interaction post that. Kapoor's cousins, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Karisma Kapoor, gave the soirée a miss.

The insider adds that the actor's trainer, Kunal Gir, gifted him a special cake in the afternoon. It's a three-kilo, eight-layered cake, which was flown in from Hyderabad. Talking to mid-day about it, Gir says, "It's a multi-flavoured cake. Since Ranbir's favourite number is eight, I got it made in eight layers. It has chocolate, strawberry, butterscotch and five other flavours. I don't believe in healthy cakes. The one I got for Ranbir was rich. I tell him if he wants a cheat day, he should have one."

Talking about the actor's schedule for the day, the source says that he won't be shooting today. "He trained at his home gym in the morning and gorged on the cake that Kunal got for him in the afternoon."
