The 35-year-old veteran batsman, who was originally sidelined by a hamstring injury which required surgery, has been called to the sub-continent to replace hurt paceman Doug Bollinger.

"Just going is a bit of a dream come true but to actually be there as part of a winning Australian team would be out of this world, so let's hope," Hussey said.
"I feel very excited and can't wait to get over there and catch up with the boys. I've had lots of messages from the boys already so I'm just excited to get over there really."
Hussey, who underwent surgery in January, said he was confident his leg would hold up at the World Cup after testing its fitness in the domestic Sheffield Shield competition.
"It would have been nice to score more runs but just to be out there playing the game you love again is what it's all about," he said.
"Just knowing I can get through the game and know I can go full of confidence with the leg, that gives me a lot of confidence as well."
Hussey, who is due to fly to the sub-continent on Tuesday, said he believed Australia had a "great chance" of winning the World Cup.
"A confident Australian team is always very hard to beat so hopefully we can keep building that confidence and be right there at the business end of the tournament," he said.
Hussey, who has played 151 ODIs, making 4,469 runs with a highest score of 109 not out and an average of over 51, will now be able to play in Australia's fourth Group A game against Kenya in the Indian city of Bangalore on Saturday.
Seamer Dirk Nannes is also flying fly to India to act as bowling cover.
