London: Ivan Reitman has recently revealed the reason behind him "not" directing the upcoming movie 'Ghostbusters 3'.
The 67-year-old said that he suddenly felt that Ghostbusters didn't necessarily need him as a director, or in other words, at least he didn't needed to direct Ghostbusters, Metro.co.uk reported.
He further added that with the passing of Harold Ramis and also with Bill Murray, who seemed disinterested being in it, he thought it was better for him to just produce it and to make sure were going to have the quality and style of what was appropriate for another version of that film.
Reitman also mentioned that the franchise could benefit from somebody else's point of view.
