Los Angeles: Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence, actor Michael Fassbender, Olivia Munn, and Patton Oswalt took part in Jason Reitman's live read of 1983 crime comedy film 'The Big Lebowski' in Montreal.

Michael Fassbender read the part of The Dude (originally played by Jeff Bridges), while Jennifer Lawrence took on Julianne Moore's role as Maude, reported Variety.

Olivia Munn played Bunny, Maude's stepmother, while Patton Oswalt was John Goodman's Walter.
At the event, which was part of the Just For Laughs festival, Fassbender dressed for the occasion wearing The Dude's signature bathrobe.
He also reportedly smoked cigarettes on stage and drank a cocktail during the reading.
"I think Fassbender went a little too Method on this one". Oswalt joked.
