The actor and musician, who is touring Europe with the group amid ex-wife Amber Heard's claims he physically assaulted her, is said to have been accompanied by eight security guards before checking into a $12,000 (£8,000) per night hotel.
A source told a website: "He is always keeping to himself. Ordering room service and never spends time with the band."
It's said the star, who lost his mother three days before his partner demanded a restraining order and filed for divorce, is under a lot of stress amid Heard's claims, which he denies.
An anonymous crew member said: "We have all been told not to talk about Johnny for obvious reasons. He is under a lot of stress at the moment and talk about him might affect the band."
