Keen competition in Grover golf

Defending champions Poona Golf Club will face a stiff challenge from Bombay Presidency Golf Club, Willingdon Sports Club and US Club to emerge the champion golf club in Western India, which will be decided after the 13th Grover Vineyards Inter-Club Golf Championship, co-sponsored by Parle Products, to be played at the Willingdon Sports Club on February 21 and 22.

The championship will be played on a round robin Ryder Cup matchplay format, each team represented by 24 players, of whom 21 play each day. From each club, three players will play the singles, three comprise the foursomes and six pairs will compete in the fourball matchups.
