Karisma Kapoor likes being busy. From movies to a grooming expert to recently announcing her debut stint at RJ'ing, the blue-eyed actress has been seen juggling between several roles throughout her career.

Keep running

Keeping up with herself, she recently flagged off a marathon event in the city meant to raise awareness about breast cancer. In a chat with CS, Karisma spoke about health, disease and why precaution is better than cure.

Lack of awareness?
I don’t really think women tend to neglect their health as people are becoming more aware. I know a lot of women who do have their regular health checks which is very essential. At least once a year, that routine health checkup is very important and everyone should get it done. Even though we lead such fast-paced lives, we really need to take those couple of hours out once a year to take care of ourselves.

Master of multitasking
To me, the definition of being a mom is to be the master of multitasking. I genuinely feel that if you have your priorities right, you delegate and you give time for everything. You can have a career, act and be a great mommy as well. I strive to do that as my priority is my family and everything else comes later!

Walk if you can’t run
Don’t do too much of anything! Running is a good exercise but if you can’t do that, walk. I try and walk a lot as much as possible even in my building compound. A little bit of yoga helps too. Supporting a healthy lifestyle is my mantra. I love to eat as I’m a typical Kapoor! I don’t advocate eating salads whole day. Instead, have a balanced meal every 2-3 hours. u00a0
