In her hour of crisis, Kesha has found a new supporter in one of the biggest stars of the music recording industry — Adele.

The multi-Grammy wining singer while accepting the trophy for best female solo artist at 2016 Brit Awards took her time on stage to extend support to Kesha, who is currently battling producer Dr Luke in a lawsuit alleging that he abused her physically and emotionally.
"Thank you so much. To come back after so long away and be so warmly received is really lovely. Thank you so much. And to all the other girls that are nominated, thank you for letting me be in your company. You're all incredible, you're all amazing and it's a privilege to be alongside you," she said while accepting her award.
After thanking her management and record label "for embracing the fact that I'm a woman", Adele acknowledged Kesha's lawsuit against Dr Luke and added, "I'd also like to take this moment to publicly support Kesha."
With this, Adele joins the likes of Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, Kelly Clarkson and others who have supported Kesha.
