Washington D.C.: U.S. First Lady Michelle Obama and Charlize Theron have similar advice for girls who may be afraid to be smart because they might be a turn-off to guys.

FLOTUS and the 40-year-old actress were at the 'The Power of an Educated Girl, event in New York', when the actress said that that there was nothing sexier than a smart woman, adding that it was time to break the mold.
Michelle totally agreed and said, 'As young women, or as older women, we have to raise our own bars, you will not be successful hanging around people who drag you down.'
People Magazine reports that the panel at the glamour event also spoke about the importance of schooling and promoted the influence that a strong education could have.
