Zubair Karbhari's brace helped St Stanislaus High School (Bandra) to a 2-0 win over Army Public School (Colaba) in the Mumbai Schools Sports Association (MSSA)-organised inter-school boys U-14 Division I football tournament at Azad Maidan yesterday.
The Bandra outfit opened their account in the sixth minute when Zubair hammered the ball into the net from close range after an assist by Jaffer Mansoori. Stanislaus doubled the lead in the 16th minute when Jaffer yet again assisted Zubair, who was positioned right in front of the goal.
The striker headed the ball in to seal a comfortable win for St Stanislaus.
