Flagging rights in Bandra
Was the flag at Bandra Reclamation's promenade that had disappeared in the monsoon and reappeared a few days ago, taken down because of the rains or was there something more to it? Whatever the reason, close aide of Shiv Sena scion, Aaditya Thackeray, Rahul Kanal has taken credit for its reappearance of the flag.

The Bandraite claimed that he wrote letters to authorities to reinstate the flag. Ashish Shelar, Mumbai BJP president, who installed the flag this August 15 claims that the national flag was pulled down during the rains.
However, that hasn't stopped Kanal from thanking Shiv Sena and authorities to whom he had written the letter. On Kanal's post, someone commented that most flags on high poles are taken down during monsoons and then reinstated. Politics or something else, we'll let you be the judge.

Pasbaan-E-Adab, a Mumbai based socio-cultural organisation, known to conduct quality literary events, is keen to bring contemporary vernacular poetry to the fore. They have organised an event Anubhooti – A celebration of Quality Hindi Poetry that aims to promote Hindi poetry during Hindi Diwas Week.
The event, according to its president, poet and IG Maharashtra Kaiser Khalid is also to promote the message of unity. The organisers have also used the Internet to promote poets before the event.

It will show works created by specially-abled young adults at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya. Trisomy 21 is the medical term for Down's Sundrome.
