Mumbai: Flyover connecting Goregaon East and West to open today

The 2.3-km-long flyover connecting SV Road and the Western Express Highway (WEH) in Goregaon will finally open on Saturday, six years after its construction began. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray will inaugurate it. The flyover, built at a cost of over Rs 250 crore, will be named after late socialist leader Mrinal Gore. Over 358 structures and huts had to be removed for the project. Pic/Nimesh Dave
