Los Angeles: Longtime actress friends Nicole Kidman and Naomi Watts passionately locked lips on stage at an awards show.

In a series of photographs that have hit the internet, Kidman, 47, can be seen grabbing 46-year-old Watt's face as she leaned in to kiss her, reported Us magazine.
The friendly gesture sparked a series of cheers from the crowd who looked on, as Watts and Kidman smiled at each other.
In a strange twist, both the Hollywood heavyweights were wearing unflattering, floral shower caps.

Kidman and Watts were at the Women In Film 2015 Crystal plus Lucy Awards in Los Angeles. Kidman even bagged the Crystal Award for Excellence in Film.
