Former Pakistan captain Hanif Mohammad's condition has further deteriorated and the original 'Little Master' has been put on a ventilator, according to his daughter Seema. "My dad is very sick," she said yesterday morning.

The 81-year-old was admitted to Karachi's Aga Khan Hospital last week due to respiratory complications. He underwent liver surgery in London in 2013. "He has been facing difficulty while breathing and we pray for his recovery," she added. Seema will be making a dash to Karachi to visit her father. "I am rescheduling my visit and leaving for Karachi today itself," Seema said.
Hanif's son and former Pakistan player Shoaib Mohammad has expressed concern over his dad's serious health condition. "Till Saturday he was fine and cheerful. But his health worsened yesterday. His cough sample has been taken and CT scans have been done," he said. "Because of his longer (than expected) stay in the hospital, the infection has increased. He is finding it difficult to breathe and therefore he's kept on a ventilator," he added. Hanif has also been advised to take injections from India or Europe.
