The Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has apparently given Paresh Rawal the permission to make a film on his life
Paresh Rawal, who has been busy with his films and political career, is all set to play Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his next film. Earlier it was reported that the actor is likely to play Naredra Modi in his next project, but now this has been confirmed.
“Paresh Rawal is all set to play NaMo in a biopic based on the Prime Minister’s life. In fact, Paresh bhai has already started preparing for the film and very soon an official announcement will be made.
All permissions that were needed to start this project have already been taken and when Modiji was informed about this project, he was really happy,” says a source close to Paresh Rawal. The source adds that he will not only act in the film, but will also produce it.
Paresh Rawal confirmed the story. “We will start sometime in February or March next year and very soon, we will make an official announcement. I am producing the film and playing Mr Modi in this project. We have done a lot of research and the film’s script — it will be interesting, to say the least - is already in place. When we told Modiji about this project, he greenlighted it. His entire life will be showcased in this film,” he said.
