Karnatak Sporting Association (KSA) beat MCA Colts by six wickets in the opening match of Police Shield tournament. Riding on Mumbai discard Eknath Kerkar's 169 KSA chased Colts' 311 for 8, scoring 315 for four in 60.5 overs. For MCA Colts, Pranav Menon scored an unbeaten 99.
