Actress Rachana Parulkar, who portrays the role of maharani Ajabde Punwar in historical drama show 'Bharat Ka Veer Putra Maharana Pratap', says doing consummation scenes on-screen is "tough and challenging."

In the upcoming episodes of the Sony Entertainment Television show, viewers will see Pratap and his lady love Ajabde take their marriage to the next level.

"Consummation sequence is definitely tough to enact. There are a lot of difficulties which are faced while portraying such sequences, as it deals with a matter of discomfort. For any actor, it is challenging to do the consummation scene with his or her co-actor. But to overcome such challenges is what defines a true actor," Rachana said in a statement.

Rachana has previously appeared in TV shows like "Saat Phere - Saloni Ka Safar" and "Ek Mutthi Aasmaan".
