Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi
While the first lecture was delivered by cricket legend Sunil Gavaskar in 2013, Anil Kumble and VVS Laxman delivered the second and third respectively.
It can be recalled that in the last lecture, Laxman had described Pataudi as the "first superstar of Indian cricket". "The loss of sight in one eye after an accident would have derailed the career of most cricketers. But Tiger Pataudi fought his way back to Test cricket and continued scoring runs against the best of the attacks — and on uncovered wickets with little or no protective gear," Laxman had said.
