Mumbai's talented batsman Shreyas Iyer scored a brilliant 123 as the Ranji Trophy defending champions were made to follow on by 1993 champions Punjab in the Group 'A' tie at Rajkot on Saturday.

Mumbai ended up drawing the match when skipper Aditya Tare (22) and Suryakumar Yadav (27) staying firm with the end-of-match scoreboard reading 227-4.

Punjab took three points as Mumbai entered the quarter-finals with Gujarat and Tamil Nadu in their group.
