An upcoming event gives you the chance to share your knowledge of films or even perform your favourite number
The first Spotlight event
If you eat, sleep and dream movies and like nothing better than to talk about it, you now have the space to do so. Tomorrow, you get five minutes to perform or narrate scenes, stories, songs, plots and screenplays of your favourite movies, actors, plays, web series, short films or documentaries across genres.

The event, titled Spotlight, is an impromptu performance competition. It is part of a series of initiative by BeHiver, an organisation that helps people bond over common subjects. "Spotlight is about stories related to cinema and theatre. We are talking about the entertainment industry in all its glory," says founder Kalpak Chavan. Every participant gets five minutes to perform their piece, post which there will be a Q&A.

"We organise events that bring people together over meaningful conversation. It works as a good way to de-stress too. We are bringing strangers together for face-to-face conversations. In addition, budding artistes get a chance to perform," adds Chavan.
The previous Spotlight edition focused on storytelling; the next one will be on Zumba.
